Membership

Membership is open to all writers and readers of English poetry. Members are from diverse backgrounds, cultures and religions, including Jewish, Christian, Druse and Bahai, residing in Israel and abroad. Voices Israel welcomes contributions from poets anywhere.

Regular monthly meetings of members are held in Jerusalem, Tel- Aviv and Haifa, and elsewhere on occasion. Meetings are fashioned after a workshop pattern, with members listening to, reading and critiquing one another's poems.

A monthly newsletter together with the Monthly Poet's Voice is circulated to members.

Members attend any of the local meetings they wish, and can freely participate. They are invited to special workshops for members only. Poetry submissions by paid-up members to the yearly anthology are free and copies are available at discounted cost.

Subscription Cost: 100 NIS/year (or US$35 or UK STG 20. to non-Israeli residents, bank check payable to "Voices Israel") due January 1 of each year. Cost includes one free copy of the annual Voices Anthology.
